Cleveland Public Library patrons are experiencing longer than normal wait times for hold items. Cleveland Public Library and CLEVNET-member libraries regret this issue and apologize for the inconvenience.
The Statewide Delivery System service is managed and coordinated by the State Library of Ohio. The single delivery network system is currently provided by STAT Courier Service Inc. through April 15, 2022. The service will be provided by Priority Dispatch beginning April 18, 2022. Please be assured that the State Library of Ohio is doing everything it can to resolve this issue as fast as possible.

I’ve been waiting for a while. Where are my materials?
Cleveland Public Library apologizes for the inconvenience. We regret to inform you that you will experience longer than normal wait times for hold items. The State Library of Ohio, which manages and coordinates the distribution of our materials, recently switched delivery vendors. The delivery service supplier is facing a backlog of delivery items to libraries across the state and it is affecting Cleveland Public Library and CLEVNET-member libraries.
How long will I have to wait?
The timeline is unknown at this time. Our hope is that you will have materials in the next 2-3 weeks. Please be assured that the State Library of Ohio is doing everything it can to resolve this issue as fast as possible.
What are my other options while I wait?
Our staff can assist you in finding alternate formats of your materials, such as audiobooks or large print. Call or visit any Cleveland Public Library location and let them know what you are looking for. We encourage you to utilize our digital services to find books, movies, and more.
What if I don’t have a computer?
Our staff is happy to help. Call or visit any Cleveland Public Library location for assistance. You can utilize our computers at any one of our branches or Main Library.
