Five fuzzy robot friends are ready to rock out and perform their “dance of joy” for you. Visit the BAND, a new interactive art installation, by the renowned duo FriendsWithYou, in Main Library’s Brett Hall. In collaboration with LAND Studio and the engineers at Deeplocal.

The Superman Homecoming

The Superman Homecoming: The Heritage of Ohio’s Own Superhero features selected items from the Library’s Mike Curtis Collection of Superman Memorabilia of thousands of comics, posters, toys, packaging, clothing, photographs, and more, with new items revealed every six months!

Baggage Claim

Pieces of Darius Steward’s Baggage Claim, in Search of New Beginnings, an installation embracing themes of identity, progress, and perseverance, can be found throughout our Main Library. The installation was created as the 2021 See Also installation, a public art program presented every year in partnership with LAND Studio.

Protest

Protest, originally installed on Public Square as a temporary public artwork, is by Nigerian-born, Brooklyn-based artist Olalekan ‘LEk’ Jeyifous. The installation series was orginally created as part of LANDFORM and is now permanently installed outside of our Langston Hughes Branch.
