Storytime with Sign Stage Cleveland

YOUNG SCHOLARS’ ACADEMY

Together, enjoy a literacy-based program featuring engaging, once-a-week lessons for children based on the Ohio Department of Education Learning Standards. Parents are provided with research-based tips that support learning opportunities at home. Enrolled families receive free materials and books to support at-home learning. 

Sessions are offered online via Zoom or in-person at select library branch locations.  Morning and afternoon sessions are available.  Space is limited. Registration is required. Questions? Call (216) 623-7114 

Beginner Academy 

For scholars ages 3 – 4 and their caregivers. The scholar must be 3 years old by the start of the academy. 

Transitional Academy

For children ages 4 – 6 who will be entering Kindergarten by Fall 2023 and their caregivers.


0-3: Read to Me

Literacy begins at birth and every caregiver can learn and use simple, research-based techniques to build language and literacy skills right from the start.
