I was born and raised in the Westpark neighborhood, near Hopkins airport. Some of my most vivid memories are of low flying planes that shook my house. As a child, I often explored the local Metroparks on my bike. Since then, I’ve lived and worked in many Cleveland areas, from the East Side Asian-Croatian neighborhood to the West Side hubs of Tremont and Ohio City. Each community has its own unique personality.

“I was excited to participate in Cleveland 20/20, as it presented an opportunity to explore the city with my camera. Over the course of the project, I explored areas that were new to me, and met people I would have otherwise not encountered. I grew as a photographer, going out on the beat to new places; some interesting, others not.”
