“Photography has always been a huge part of my life; I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I’ve always loved finding new things to photograph and connecting with people. Finding unique, or odd, out-of-the-way sights and scenes is something I have always done. This project gave me extra permission to explore. I enjoyed looking for interesting faces and all the things that make Cleveland what it is. The best part of Cleveland 20/20 was connecting with people. I love getting to know people and understanding their ways of life. Throughout this project, I learned so much more than I ever thought I would about how diverse Clevelanders are in everything they do. From what they wear, where they shop, seeing the families during festivals and celebrations; the exposure was enriching.”
