Building your child’s brain is as simple as reading, singing, playing and talking! Join us as we read engaging books and sing lively songs with plenty of time for playing and talking! Boss Brick Builders

3:30 PM – 5:30 PM | West Park

Sharpen your problem-solving skills and teamworking abilities by exploring brick blocks, task coding mini-motors, and building with mixed media. This Friday after-school program provides individual and group activities to promote STEAM skills. Come back Saturday morning for extra free-building.

About West Park

Aptly named, West Park is the westernmost campus in the Library’s system. The newly reimagined building has three meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 41 people. Please contact the branch for more information about reserving the meeting rooms.

History & Architecture

Completed in 1928, West Park is one of many Cleveland Public Library branches created by the architecture firm Walker & Weeks. A modified English Tudor, the branch is constructed of red brick with stone trim with a beautiful slate roof and leaded glass bays. At 14,400 square feet, West Park is one of the largest branches. West Park Campus was renovated in 2021-2022 by Vocon and now features an elevator and spans two accessible floors, with adult materials on the main floor and children and teen spaces in the lower level.
