Educators
It doesn’t matter whether you’re teaching in the classroom or at home, Cleveland Public Library has resources to help educators develop lesson plans to help students learn.
YRead? Book Set
YRead? Book Sets provide multiple copies of quality titles for use by educators in the classroom or community group leaders. The titles selected are for Kindergarten through High School students. Educators are encouraged to read the requested title to determine content and reading level appropriateness for their classroom.
Educator Library Cards
Any current Cleveland Public Library cardholder who is also a teacher at a public, private, parochial, or charter school, or a licensed childcare center in Cuyahoga County can apply annually for a Cleveland Public Library Educator Card.
Print and complete the Educator Card Application form and bring it along with identification to any CPL location. Acceptable identification includes a current school-issued or program-issued photo ID; a current letter on the school’s or program’s letterhead confirming employment; and a state issued photo ID.
Educator cards expire each year on July 31st.
